Our Story

My husband has been stationed there since early May, and hasn’t seen our daughter and son since. The last time he saw her was when she had just turned one. It saddens my heart to know that it will mark a whole year that our family has yet to be complete again, even with this not being a deployment. I wish for my children that our family reunite once again and have their daddy by their side for the holidays. We are in south Texas. It may be a lot to ask for as the trip and tickets are very expensive, so much so that it is out of our budget. He pays for housing there and I pay for my apartment here as well as all other expenses like our vehicles, insurance etc. the financial struggle in this economy is horrendous, but one moment with my husband is all I’d ask for these holidays.
