Our Story

In jan 2020, my wife and I met at MEPs at Fort Lee. Alisah was joining the Army Reserves and I was joining Active Duty. On the bus ride to MEPs I would start a conversation that would never end. In March 2021 I proposed to Alisah in New Orleans. We would marry in May 2021 in our hometown. I was 18 and she was 19, we both didn’t know how life would be, however we both knew we would do anything to make it work. In July of 2021 she would find out she was pregnant with our son Myles. Myles was born on March 30, 2022. It was a surreal feeling. We both were excited and exhausted at the same time with our new schedule, but we looked forward to learning and growing with Myles. In April of 2023 we would PCS from Fort Polk to Alaska. This is our second duty station! A new place to call home! When I was in-processing, there was a brief about the ASYMCA on base. From there we would utilize the market place and tell other service members about the great things the ASYMCA has to offer.
