Marketplace Meal Kits

Make meal times easier! Meal kits are available for pickup at the ASYMCA Welcome Centers at both Eielson and Ft. Wainwright. Kits are available the 2nd Tuesday of each month and can be picked up 2:00-4:00 p.m. First come, first served.

    • Date: 2nd Tuesday of each month (starting April 11, 2025)
    • Time: Pickup available 2:00-4:00 p.m.
    • Location: ASYMCA Welcome Centers (Eielson Air Force Base and Ft. Wainwright)
    • Who: Active duty service members and military families

College Tour Scholarship

The ASYMCA is partnering with Alaska Airlines and Global Credit Union Foundation to send two military teenagers and their adult to do a college tour. Applications accepted November 3–17. One-minute video application required. This program is available at no cost thanks to partner support.

  • Who: Military Teens in Grades 11-12 (E3–E9)

Applying for the College Tour Scholarship program? Register for a virtual one-on-one feedback and support session for the video component of your application. Registration is required. Please bring a draft or outline of your video. The program is available at no cost thanks to partner support.

  • Who: Military Teens in Grades 11-12 (E3–E9)

Cups & Conversations

Come have a cup of coffee and join in some conversations with ASYMCA staff and special guests! Hear about upcoming programs and share feedback. Location will rotate between offices at Fort Wainwright and Eielson AFB. We will meet 10:00–11:00 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Ft. Wainwright: November 7 and January 2
  • Eielson AFB: December 5 and February 6

Holiday Meal Ingredients

Starting in November, stop by our Marketplaces to check our special holiday shelves! We’ll have all the traditional items for a holiday meal. Shelves will also be stocked with ingredients that represent our diverse community.

  • Mondays–Fridays from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Dates: November 10–January 10

Winter Family Fest

Join us for a family night of cookie decorating, crafts, light snacks, hot chocolate, reindeer, and holiday cheer. One registration per household. In partnership with Global Credit Union.

  • Location: Musher’s Hall, 925 Farmers Loop Rd.
  • Cost: $5/person

Winter Spouse Retreat - Fairbanks Area

Rest, recharge, and reconnect with our Winter Spouse Retreat. Enjoy activities like crafts, ice skating, skiing, and sizzling bonfires with this daylong retreat. The day will end with a special dinner prepared by Chef Lizzie. Open to active duty female military spouses. Powered by Wounded Warrior Project.

Teens, find the perfect presents for your parents at the ASYMCA Bargain Shop during our annual Teen Shop Night! Teens will have special access to Bargain Ships during this event and receive a $25 store credit. Registration required. Powered by Wounded Warrior Project.

Ft. Greely Thanksgiving Meal Kits

The ASYMCA of Alaska is bringing holiday cheer to our Ft. Greely military families! We are committed to ensuring all military families have the ingredients they need to enjoy a traditional holiday meal. Open to those currently serving (E1–E5). Meals kits will be delivered to Ft. Greely by November 21. Registration is required
