It’s a summer of Alaska adventure with ASYMCA summer programs! We offer a variety of day and overnight camp options for children of all ages, as well as Military Spouse Summer Camp for adults.
No one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Contact our branch director at 907-552-9622 to learn about our financial assistance programs.
The Armed Services YMCA of Alaska and Campfire Alaska are partnering to send military kids to Camp K!
Cost: $100/child per week
Ages: 6–17 years
Eligibility: Open to first-time participants who are dependents of active duty military permanently stationed in Alaska. Children who have previously attended Camp K through the ASYMCA of Alaska are not eligible.
Important Note:You will need to take two steps to complete your child’s registration.
Both steps need to be completed to secure your child’s spot.
2025 Session Dates:
Registration Available April 7-18
Blast off with an overnight learning experience at the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska! Adventures include sessions on rocketry, simulated missions, survival, and astronomy. On our return trip, we will visit the Kenai Wildlife Reserve for an exclusive outdoor experience with reserve’s ranger team.
Cost: $100/child
Ages: Campers entering grades 6–8
2025 Session Dates:
Summer camp is for grown-ups, too! Rest and recharge with fellow female military spouses at an overnight getaway! Activities include kayaking, canoeing, archery, guided hikes, yoga, and more. Meals and snacks are provided. A special thank you to our partners, ConocoPhillips Alaska and Wounded Warrior Project.
Cost: $100/spouse
Eligibility: Female military spouse of active duty military
