ASYMCA Child Watch

Open to Dependents of Active Duty Service Members | Ages 6 Months–12 Years

Drop-In Child Care

**UPDATE** ASYMCA Child Watch on JBER is relocating. Child Watch at the ASYMCA Early Learning location will close January 28. There will be no care offered January 29–30.

ASYMCA Child Watch will re-open in the new location on February 2. The new location will be inside Global Credit Union (4846 Westover Ave., Ste. 100). Hours will be Mondays from 9:15 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and Tuesdays–Fridays from 8:15 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Up to two hours of care will be provided.

Starting February 2026, there will be two changes to ASYMCA Child Watch on JBER. Care will be $3 per child per visit. ASYMCA Child Watch on JBER can be used for any reason as long as the parent remains on the installation while their child(ren) is at Child Watch. (Families must stay on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson while care is being provided.)

We are happy to care for your child(ren)! Located on JBER and Eielson Air Force Base, ASYMCA Child Watch is a short-term, drop-in child care center for children ages 6 months–12 years. We also offer appointments that can be made 24 hours in advance. This program offers up to two hours of supervised care in fun, kid-friendly spaces. Children may enjoy one visit per day. Families using the Eielson Air Force Base Child Watch must remain inside the Baker Field House. Families using the JBER Child Watch must remain on the installation. This program is available to dependents of active duty service members.

Pre-registation and a copy of your child(ren)’s immunization records are required prior to your first visit. (Immunization records must be uploaded to your child’s ASYMCA program account.) Scroll below for details.

Program Details

ASYMCA Child Watch is available to dependents (ages 6 months to 12 years old) of active duty service members.

All children must be pre-registered prior to their first appointment. Scroll below and click the button to complete the online pre-registration form for your child. Please note that you must provide a copy of your child’s shot records to register.

  • Eielson Air Force Base: We provide up to two hours of care per day for families as they relax or workout at Baker Field House. Parents/guardians must stay onsite at Baker Field House.
  • JBER: We provide up to two hours of care per day for families. Parents/guardians must stay on the JBER installation while their child(ren) are being cared for in Child Watch.
  • Eielson Air Force Base: Care is $3 per child per two-hour visit. You can also purchase a 10-visit punch card for $30.
  • JBER: Starting February 2, 2026, care is $3 per child per two-hour visit. You can also purchase a 10-visit punch card for $30.

You will log into your ASYMCA Daxko account and follow the steps below:

  1. Select Dashboard
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and, on the bottom right, select Add Documents
  3. You can then select those documents that need to upload

Appointments are not required, but are strongly recommended. Appointments may be made in person during business hours, or by calling Child Watch.
